Legal: Call recording and consent policy
Updated · By the Dael team
This page summarises commitments in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, which govern if anything here differs.
1. AI disclosure
Dael agents are AI assistants. They say so early on every call, they never pretend to be a person, and they transfer to a person on request or when they cannot help.
2. Call recording
Every call Dael answers or makes on a business’s behalf opens with a notice that the call is recorded. The Service records those calls and produces transcripts from them. Recordings are stored securely, are accessible only to that business’s account, and are kept for 90 days by default. Custom plans can set a different retention period.
3. The live demo on this website
The demo runs in your browser with your microphone, and only after you press the call button. The agent tells you it is an AI assistant and that the call is recorded. Your voice is processed live to run the call, and we keep the transcript to improve the agent. A demo call ends after 5 minutes. If you entered a website, we read only that public site so the agent can answer as that business. Ask us at any time to delete a demo transcript.
4. Outbound calls and stopping them
Dael only calls leads who asked to be contacted. Anyone who asks a Dael agent to stop calling is marked do-not-contact straight away, and the agent does not call them again.
5. Customer responsibilities
- Obtain any consent required before your agents call a lead, including prior express consent for AI-voice calls under the TCPA.
- Do not call numbers on do-not-call registries without the required consent.
- Make sure call recording complies with the laws where your callers and leads are located, including two-party consent states in the US.
6. Contact
Questions about recordings or consent, or a request to delete a recording: hello@dael.ai.
